Pádraigín on TV and radio – ‘A Hidden Ulster’

TG4 will broadcast an hour-long documentary on ‘A Hidden Ulster‘ entitled Oirialla – Atlantis na hÉireann (Oriel – Ireland’s Atlantis) on 18 March. The documentary features various poets and singers including Pádraigín, Paul Muldoon, Jarlath Burns, Armagh Rhymers, Vallelys of Armagh, Pól Ó Muirí and featuring Steve Cooney, Laoise Kelly, Ódhrán Ó Casaide, Macdara Ó hUallacháin-Graham, Gráinne Baxter and more. It will be subtitled and is directed by Moira Sweeney.

Inside Out, the flagship BBC TV (NI) magazine programme will feature ‘A Hidden Ulster’ on 13 February at 7.30 pm.

RTÉ Radio 1 will begin broadcasting a new series, ‘Songs From a Hidden Ulster‘, based onPádraigín Ní Uallacháin’s book, on Saturday 11 February at 7pm. The series will consist of eight programmes and runs until April.
