Pádraigín will release ‘Áilleacht / Beauty‘ on October 21st 2005! This beautiful new album features 11 tracks of contemporary songs and music in Irish by Pádraigin Ní Uallacháin, produced by Steve Cooney and Palle Mikkelborg. Other guest musicians include Iarla Ó Lionáird, Laoise Kelly, Helen Davies, Ódhrán Ó Casaide, Brian Dunning and Mikkel Nordso. Áilleacht is a landmark recordings, the first contemporary album of songs in Irish by an Irish woman.

About Pádraigín Ní Uallacháin

Of County Armagh and Louth parentage, Pádraigín Ní Uallacháin was raised in an Irish speaking family of eight. She is a multifaceted traditional artist: a professional singer since 1999 and a researcher, song writer, author and composer.
