TG4 air new documentary on Pádraigín – ‘Sé mo Laoch’

Pádraigín has been busy in October 2018 filming an hour long documentary  ‘Sé Mo Laoch’ for TG4 to be shown in 2019. It was a unique opportunity to gather in musicians who have shared recordings with her, over the years, including Steve Cooney, Dónal O’Connor, Ódhrán Ó Casaide, Zoe Conway, John McIntyre, Sylvia Crawford, Darren Mag Aoidh, her son Macdara, and share songs with Feilimí & Siubhán O’Connor, Bláithín Mhic Cana, Piaras Ó Lorcáin and  Ríoghnach Connolly from Armagh.

Of County Armagh and Louth parentage, Pádraigín Ní Uallacháin was raised in an Irish speaking family of eight. She is a multifaceted traditional artist: a professional singer since 1999 and a researcher, song writer, author and composer.
