An Leabhar Mór – The Great Book of Gaelic

Since taking up residency at the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry, Pádraigín has been collaborating with Iomairt Cholmcille and Ultach Trust in Belfast in its series of events based around the exhibition of An Leabhar Mór (The Great Book of Gaelic) which is currently being exhibited in the Ulster Museum Belfast (October-November 2005). Of County Armagh and Louth parentage, Pádraigín Ní Uallacháin was raised in an Irish speaking family of eight. She is a multifaceted traditional artist: a professional singer since 1999 and a researcher, song writer, author and composer.
