Pádraigín was presented with one of the 2018 Oscars in traditional music, Gradam Ceoil TG4, for her ‘Outstanding Contribution to Traditional Song’. A new double CD of Oriel songs has been launched on 7 October 2017. Ceoltaí Oirialla – Songs of Oriel contains 27 Oriel songs which Pádraigín has renewed, including 14 accompanied and 14 unaccompanied songs.
